Case Study
Additional Storage Traffic Group Signals
Additional Storage
A manufacturer of temporary traffic signal products required a solution to store excess stock of equipment on their premises to keep dry and for access 24/7, they also identified a small space on site that could potentially have a smaller structure for storage for other items.
We attended site to view the areas they were looking to place the structures and to discuss their requirements and offer various structure options to meet their needs and confirmed what ground fix could be used on site.
Design & Manufacture
The customer originally wanted a PVC structure with a 4m leg as needed additional height to accommodate the equipment but to keep them in line with their budget we offered them an alternative bespoke solution which still met their needs.
We provided a 9m x 18m PVC structure with a 3m leg, single skin PVC walls and roof for the main storage requirement. We adapted one of the end gable walls so that they would be higher than normal so that the taller lights could be wheeled straight in to store.
The additional smaller marquee was again bespoke made due to the space that was available.
We manufactured a 4.5m x 6m with PVC single skin walls and roof structure on 3m legs to give added height so it could fit in to the space that site had allocated for it.
